Mother Natures Turnes to Dance
Kim, We have made it home after a few days in Stockholm and have returned
to work, where everyone was keen to know how we got on.
People have checked out our photos and said how beautiful the scenery is,
how wonderful the dogs look and how funny it is to see me
with my glasses freezing over.
As you will have noticed I was still in shock when we arrived,
having had only a few days to pack and prepare for the trip.
Anne-Marie had decided I needed a birthday I would never forget
and I guess she did that.
I admit that the real cold of -30C and the lack of running
were not ideal for me, but thankfully your wonderful vegetarian food
and being with the dogs were a great success.
I had never had any contact with huskies before and while
I had seen programmes about their pulling prowess I had no idea
how friendly they were with complete strangers.
I know that we were complete novices in all sorts of ways
so I thank you for your patience and for letting us share those days.
Best wishes for 2010 and say hello to Bolt and Mr Q for me.
regards Paul
