Family Club 2011 - The Dune Family
Katrina: A week with Husky Holiday is quite simply amazing. Every day we learnt something new from harnessing the dogs, understanding each dog’s personality and actually driving our own team. This holiday is for dog lovers and people who enjoy the outdoors and nature.
Brian: This was pure personal service. Anita, Manuel and Doro were totally at our disposal offering activity specific to what we wanted to do as a family. This was a dream holiday in which every aspect of our dream came through.
Cormac aged 9:I thought it was a great experience. We got to try different things each day and tried new food, including Moose, Reindeer and Pike. I will recommend to everyone especially children who love dogs.

Husky Special Week 6 2011
...to help with the feeding and mucking out, which is great fun anyway (each and every dog demands its morning cuddle). I imagine it’s possible to go along and be lazy, but you won’t get half the experience.
I have to say this was the best holiday I’ve ever had. Manuel, Anita and their team were supremely flexible, catering for the interests and energy levels of each individual guest.

his Husky Special in February 2011.

Husky Special Week 3 2011
An excellent holiday in beautiful country. The dogs were great. I particularly appreciated the flexibility shown by Anita and Manuel, who were more than happy to adjust their usual itinerary to fit in things I particularly wanted to see/do.
Thanks guys - see you next year

New Year's Mushing 2010
It has been a great trip and a really fortunate decision to give up my New Year's celebration at home and celebrate this week in Sverige.
Your concept that your guests can be a part of the family and the flexibility you have should feel, for almost every guest, like a warm bath.

their New Year tour in December 2010.

Autumn Adventure December 2009
This was our third visit to Husky Holidays,
the
previous two for the Husky Special
in the last
week in January.
This time we opted for the
last week of the autumn
season (6 to 12th Dec)
and, as usual, we were not disappointed.
Being out on the trails with the dogs is something
I personally will never tire of,
and as I have said
before, it is too hard to describe.
Come and see for yourself.

their Autumn Adventure tour in December 2009.

Husky Special Week 3 2009
Shirley and I have safely returned to sunny Australia
and we would like to extend our gratitude for an
unforgettable and sensational time that we spent
with you and the dogs.
Coming from a hot and dry country, we were a little
apprehensive about the conditions that we might
encounter in Sweden...

their Husky Special tour in January 2009.

New Years Mushing 2008/2009
We had a truly wonderful time, in some ways the best
yet. I loved being on a smaller tour, and it was great
to try something new like a drive with the puppies and
a pleasure to see old friends like Pluto thriving.
Dog driving in your beautiful landscape never ceases to
captivate me. It is a privilege to be able to handle
the dogs and get to know them a little; they are
so unfailingly friendly, welcoming and tolerant of
our mistakes, as indeed are you and all your human helpers.
I love the house, the room, the surroundings, the weather, the snow, the people and of course the dogs!.....

her New year Mushing tour 2008/09.

New Years Mushing 2008/2009
We just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had.
We talk about it allthe time and have spent ages
arranging pictures into albums. Everyone we work
with has been so jealous when we've told them how great it was.
I could try to list all the things that made it so wonderful but that would take forever so I won't even try!
We hadn't expected to be able to do so much, it was lovely being able to go out with the dogs every morning and still have time for fishing, skiing (and falling over
as well!), horse riding and so on!
We also weren't expecting the food to be so good,
David has tried to replicate the blueberrysuppe
but it just wasn't the same!!
We very much hope we will be able to come back and join you again some time.

Autumn Holiday Oktober 2008
Gavin and Ellens third Husky Holiday,
and their first Autumn Adventure.
We were both looking forward to the variety and possibilities of visiting you in the autumn and we were
not disappointed. For me, the other elements such as
the forest walks, moose calling and the carriage ride
were equally enjoyable as the time spent training and feeding the dogs.
I was surprised and inspired by the beautiful
surroundings. I wonder whether you can appreciate
the impact being so close to nature has on us,
the contrast to our daily lives is enormous.

her Autumn Adventure tour in Oktober 2008.

Summer Holiday August 2008
Hi Kim,
Thank you so much for a lovely holiday. We had a
great time and are both now feeling really sad to
be back in England! Still it has really helped inspire
us to get on and sort out everything we need do
before moving to Sweden so we'll be working on the
Swedish and the black-smithing.
Thank you for all your help and hard work,
you've been an absolute star!
With lots of love,
Geena and Stu

Husky Special Week 6 2008
Hello Kim and Bergsvein, Hannas, Jenny and Sten.
I'm back at work today (Tuesday), having taken
yesterday off to go to the woods with my own dog,
the weather was too nice to sit in an office!
Even though I'm looking at this world around me, in my mind's eye all I see is snow and "my" team in front of me.

her Husky Special tour in February 2008.

Husky Special Week 5 2008
Steve and Kims second Husky Holiday
Having sledded the same week in 2007
(see previous review) the anticipation of returning
for another week of sledding was very high. Meeting Bergsvein and Lassen at Ostersund and the
trip to the farmhouse only served to build up the
excitement, having followed the progress of the puppies
and the work around the farmhouse online
throughout the year

their Husky Special tour in February 2008.

Family Club 2005 - To the bone!
"-Up front Dad was having some problems controlling
his dogs, that were causing hold – ups further back.
Me and Nick were taking up the rear and had to keep stopping to let the people in front get further ahead.
Eventually we arrived home after having so much
fun and seeing beautiful landscapes"
Master Hector Craft has shared his christmas
mushing holiday experience with us.

Munken Combi Mushing 2008
Hello Bergsvein, Kim, the huskies & the rest
of the Ostersund Massive – Robert & Denise here.
Just a quick line to say “tusen tack!” for a wonderful
week in snowy Sverige, we had a great time
with you all.
Fantastic snow-covered scenery, exhilarating sled
rides, excellent tucker, friendly & hardworking dogs,
great company and a real sense of being away
from it all – just what we needed.
Wishing you all the very best with your business,
we will keep an eye on your website to see how
the cross-country trips go.
Big hugs from Robert & Denise
